Former Students’ Association
The Former Students’ Association of the Scottish Church College was founded in 1955, was registered in 1989 and officially became an integral part of the College administration in 2018-19. This endeavour was with the intention of bringing together all its former students who had passed through the hallowed portals of this great institution known for its liberal education, at a time access to social networking platforms for easy communication was remote. As a result of this endeavour, eminent personalities from various fields, both administrative and academic decided to bind themselves to their alma mater out of love and loyalty.
The Association has tried to help the College in various ways through the introduction of annual awards in the names of two of its great alumni - Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose – to be given to two distinguished former students and for motivation of current students through prizes such as donation of Library equipment and books etc. The Association faces many challenges and responsibilities which spread across the present scenario of the academic arena. However, with co-operation and dedication the Association hopes to fulfil all the expectations of its members and the College.
Several Departments of the college have Departmental Chapter reunions which are normally held bi-annually/annually. Computer Science and Teacher Education Department are in the process of setting up their Departmental Chapter Alumni soon.

Scottish Church College Former Students Association is deeply shocked at the news of the sad demise of the great literature Samaresh Majumdar our alumni.
